Though it may be hard to believe, Labor Day Weekend is already upon us. How will you be spending the unofficial last weekend of summer? If you’re not quite sure yet, consider checking out some of the activities featured below. You even have an extra Monday to enjoy!

 

Outdoor Movie Night– Kick off Labor Day Weekend with on New York City’s last Movies Under the Stars. This Friday, September 1st, Captain America: Civil War will be premiering at 7:30pm. Be sure to bring a blanket, a chair, and some snacks to enjoy the movie.

 

Labor Day Party– Celebrate Labor Day Weekend with a little Mexican-inspired flair! This Sunday, September 3rd, Salvation Taco will be hosting a Labor Day Weekend Party, complete with a variety of drink and food specials. Stop by from 2pm to 6pm to enjoy the rooftop bar and a live DJ.

 

West Indian Day Parade – The West Indian Day Parade may not be your traditional Labor Day activity, but it’s certainly one you won’t want to miss! The parade takes place Monday, September 4th and the march starts at 11am on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn. During the seven-hour carnival, listen to live music from steel-pan and calypso bands, and enjoy delicious Caribbean-inspired food and drinks.
