Easter in New York City

It’s April 1st and the Easter bunny has arrived in town! Whether or not you celebrate Easter, there are plenty of fun, spring activities taking place near Roosevelt Island this Easter weekend. Check out the events listed below that hare happening near The Octagon.

Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival – This Easter Sunday (and April Fool’s Day), stroll along Fifth Avenue to check out one of New York’s silliest traditions: The Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival. While you won’t see any floats in this parade, the bonnets on display will steal the show and will certainly make up for it! The parade marches north on Fifth Avenue starting at 49th Street up to 57th Street.

Jams Easter Brunch – Whether you’re celebrating Easter or looking for a great restaurant to enjoy brunch, consider checking out Jams, a Jonathan Waxman restaurant inside the 1 Hotel Central Park. For $45, you can enjoy a brunch buffet that includes build-your-own omlettes, house-made pastries, French toast skewers, and yogurt parfaits. For an extra $15 per person, enjoy unlimited mimosas and Bellinis.

The Amazing Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt – If you always loved Easter egg hunts as a kid, then you’ll love this adults-only Easter egg hunt around NYC! Recruit your friends and solve clues to complete the hunt. The winning team will receive a New York City gift package. To learn more, check out the link below.
