The 2019 Lunar New Year will began on Tuesday, February 5th and will continue for over two weeks in typical celebratory fashion. This year marks the Year of the Pig on the Lunar calendar, which brings promise of good fortune for those who are deserving! Lunar New Year Parade – The annual Lunar New Year Parade and festival is taking place Sunday, February 17th from 1pm – 4:30pm. The parade will kick off in Chinatown on Mott Street and will continue onto East Broadway toward the Manhattan Bridge and curves up through Sara D. Roosevelt Park. Stop by to see dragon dancing, stunning outfits, martial arts performances, and much more.
