Food and Drink Festivals in NYC for April

It’s a good month to be a foodie in New York City! There are plenty of food and drink festivals taking place near Roosevelt Island over the next few weeks, including the return of Smorgasburg in Brooklyn and Manhattan! Check out some of the events taking place near The Octagon below that you won’t want to miss.

 

Brisket King NYC – Returning for its eighth year, Brisket King NYC brings back the celebration of all things barbecue on Wednesday, April 10 from 6pm – 9:30pm. Taking place in Williamsburg at Biba of Williamsburg, you’ll experience barbeque cuisine from twenty different chefs, in addition to all inclusive craft beer, hard cider, and spirits.  For more information, check out the site below.

 

Margarita Rumble – If tequila is your liquor or choice, you won’t want to miss New York’s Margarita Rumble, taking place April 27 at Dobbin Street in Greenpoint. Sample margaritas from top spots across the city, such as Dos Caminos, La Equina, Catina Royal and more to cast your vote for the top marg in the city. Admission starts at $45 and various event times are available.

 

Smorgasburg – Smorgasburg has made its return for the 2019 season! In case you don’t know, Smorgasburg is an annual food flea market that takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 6pm from April to November. The event is comprised of over 100 vendors offering up their best grub and drinks. From Dutch Waffles to pasta doughnuts, you’re sure to find your new favorite treat at this food fair.
